Upcoming EventsGood Friday's Requiem Practice Schedule and Performance: Our choir, volunteers from our congregation and volunteers from other churches will be performing the Saint-Saens Requiem on Good Friday, which has been re-orchestrated for chamber orchestra by our very own Brad Short. It will be a world premiere, and we hope all of you will be able to be a part of it. Here is the remaining rehearsal schedule:
Saturday, Mar. 13: 9 a.m. - noon
Saturday, Mar. 20: SKIP - no rehearsal
Saturday, Mar. 27: 9 a.m. - noon (rehearsal with soloists and instrumentalists)
Friday, Apr. 2: Rehearsal at 6 p.m., followed by the Performance at 7:30 p.m.
Friday, April 2: Good Friday Concert & Service, 7:30 p.m.

March 21, 2010 St. Louis Jazz and Blues Vespers feature Big George Brock & the New Houserockers, 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the Beatitudes of Second Baptist Church: 100 minutes of popular jazz with an inspirational interlude. The Vespers is free and dress is casual. Located 1/3 mile west of the St. Louis Galleria at the intersection of Clayton and McKnight Roads.
